HI & WELCOME TO NICKJESSFILM

We’re Nick & Jess — a husband-and-wife wedding photo & film team, parents to two little ones, who genuinely love doing life together.

Our story started long before NICKJESSFILM. We got married in March 2018, and not long after, we picked up cameras and started filming weddings. We quickly fell in love with it — the people, the stories, the emotions, and the fact that we get to create something meaningful together.

Today, we’re parents to two little ones who were once our “two under two,” and they are, without a doubt, the greatest joy of our lives. Becoming parents has changed the way we see the world and has made us appreciate the little things even more. These days, some of our favorite memories are the simplest ones — being outside, exploring, laughing together, and sharing little everyday moments with our kids.

We’re both Ukrainian, and our families immigrated to the United States in the 90s. Our family, heritage, and faith are a huge part of who we are. Most importantly, we’re huge Jesus lovers and are incredibly grateful for the life we’ve been given.

Outside of weddings, you’ll usually find us somewhere outdoors. We love camping, especially when we can find a spot somewhere along the coast, and we spend a lot of time gardening, exploring, and just being outside with our kids. We love to stay active and work out, and we’re big believers in enjoying life while taking care of ourselves along the way.

We also LOVE trying new foods — seriously, if there’s something new on the menu, we’re probably ordering it. But Japanese food will always have our hearts. 

We’re naturally pretty adventurous and are always looking for somewhere new to explore, something new to try, or a reason to pack up the car and go. But at the same time, we’ve learned that some of the best parts of life are the little things — a good meal, a day outside, a new place, a quiet morning, or watching our kids experience something for the very first time.

And honestly, that’s probably why we love what we do so much.

We’re obsessed with the in-between moments.

The nervous laugh before walking down the aisle. The way your dad looks at you for the first time. Your best friend fixing your veil. Your grandmother dancing. The quiet moment you sneak away from the reception. The people you love most all together in one room.

We don’t just want to capture what your wedding looked like.
We want you to remember exactly what it felt like.

Because one day, the flowers will be gone, the music will stop, and the day will be over. What you’ll have left are the people, the memories, and the way it all felt.

We’re incredibly grateful that we get to preserve those moments for our couples — and even more grateful for every person who trusts us enough to let us be part of such an important chapter of their story.
